The CADA is a closed-book exam, so your success ultimately depends on how well you understand the material — not how many resources you bring. If you work through the audiobook thoroughly, revisit weak areas, and use the practice exams to identify and close gaps, this course is designed to be a comprehensive preparation tool.

The closed-book format actually makes audio study more effective, not less. In an open-book exam, you can get away with knowing where to look things up. In the CADA, you need deep understanding — and that comes from repeated exposure to the concepts. No textbook is required to use this course. The audiobook covers the full theory syllabus. That said, some students find it helpful to have a secondary reference for visual diagrams of graphs and curves — that's entirely your choice.

The CADA is one of seven subject exams you must pass for your CPL (Aeroplane) theory credit. You can sit them in any order, but you must pass all seven within two years of your first CPL subject pass. This course covers the CADA subject only.

Change of Mind
Because this course is a digital product that is available immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once you have accessed the course content. Audiobook chapters, audio practice exams, and written practice exam questions cannot be "returned" once consumed.

If you purchased the wrong course (for example, you bought the RPL course but meant to buy a different subject), please do not start the course. Contact us immediately at support@pilotaudio.com.au and we will swap you to the correct course or issue a full refund, provided you have not accessed any content.

Faults and Technical Issues
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the course has a major fault — for example, if significant portions of the content fail to load or the course is materially different from what was described — you may be entitled to a replacement or refund regardless of how much content you have accessed.

Cancellations
You may stop using the course at any time. However, ceasing use does not automatically generate a refund for a previous purchase if the content has already been accessed.
